Facebook Stands Tough Against Bloggers: Slaughters Off RSS Feed From Notes

1

Bad news for all Facebook users; company has changed its ‘Notes’ settings. Going further, users can’t import blog items via RSS feed to their personal Facebook pages. Company is implementing new changes to attract more users, but – in my view – removing old features from Facebook will directly influence its market potential. Last month Facebook had omitted “Discussion” and “Review” tabs from the ‘Pages’ which had created aggression  in people’s mind and many of them have deleted their account. However, such initiative by Facebook has provided an opportunity for various third party app development companies like Grow Plan – an alternative of discussion and review tab. Apparently, Facebook is doing such changes in order to increase its revenue and market capitalization as its IPO is expected to hit the floor by mid 2012. Therefore, increase in revenue might help company to attract market investors. Also, we might see some alternative for RSS feed for notes as a third-party initiative in future.

However, RSS is not completely dead on Facebook. Company is still allowing users to subscribe to page updates via RSS. This means that Facebook has shut down its RSS feeds only for blogs.

“The fact of the matter remains that RSS is not a consumer-friendly technology. If I said ‘RSS’ to my mother, she would have absolutely no idea what I was talking about. If I said “Twitter” or “Facebook” to her, she knows who those are — she even uses them. That said, RSS does still often provide at least a partial backbone for those services she does know,” as said by MG Siegler, General partner at Crunch Fund and a columnist for Tech Crunch.

Currently, dependency on RSS feed has decreased drastically, except in some countries where social networking sites are banned like few of the Gulf-Countries. In those countries RSS feed acts as the main source of subscription. With the introduction of “Like” and “Unlike” button, popularity of RSS feed has decreased. Now people use to share their comments directly on their pages of social media networking sites.

“The best way to get people to interact with your content is to give them insight into the links you share on your Wall by adding personal comments and responding to feedback from fans.” according to Facebook help page.

Hope this removal might not blow up the criticism further against the latest changes done by Facebook. However, we expect many more changes to come in recent future by Facebook, especially when Google+ Page has challenged Facebook’s business segment.

Is your blog feeding Facebook through RSS ? if yes, after such removal are you noticing any impact on your blog traffic. Do share with us in comment section.

iPad 3 Launch Rumors Heat Up: Integrates Many Advance Features

1

It’s been over internet from past few months that third generation of Apple’s revolutionary iPad 3 is coming soon in the market. Since the launch of iPad2 in March this year, rumors has started kicking off that Apple will soon launch iPad 3 in the market. According to a fresh rumor, iPad3 will be loaded with many advanced features and with upgraded quad-core CPU inside instead of dual-core. Some reports had already revealed that Apple has been speckled with assemblers and components suppliers in Asia. Apple iPads are the most trusted products in the Tablet market as company made record sales of over million in the first week of launch. Recently, company has revealed that it has shipped 11 million iPads in third quarter of 2011, which is expected to touch 14 million by the year-end.

As per the leaked information by component suppliers, Apple has already ordered 1.5 million new parts for iPad 3 which is supposedly to be shipped by fourth quarter of 2011. This directly indicates that Apple will definitely launch iPad 3 either by the end of this year or by starting of 2012.

Apple is expected to introduce iPad 3 in early 2012 with higher resolution as compared to the earlier model. iPad 3 will have 2048 X 1536 px resolution compare to iPad 2’s 1024 X 768 px. However, the screen size will be 9.7 inch same as iPad 2. It’s also been predicted that iPad 3 might be loaded with 5.0 megapixel camera instead VGA – provided in iPad 2.

Apple’s next generation tablet might have thinner and lighter battery than the one included in iPad 2. Also the new battery pack will have more juice for longer back-up. The screen of iPad 3 might come up with built-in LED flash, something which is missing in the current version.

As an enhancement to mobile device, iPad 3 will be lighter than iPad 2 because of carbon fibre casing, which will make it lighter in weight and faster in data transfer and browsing. There is a certainty that next-gen of Apples iPad may be equipped with NFC (Near-Field-Communication) chip too, which will make it to function more like a smart card and even allow other Apple devices, like Mac and iPhone, an easy wireless communication.

Currently, maximum countries already have 4G network connectivity and to tap such market Apple might enhance its iPad 3 with 4G technology.

However, one might be sure that iPad 3 will be more expensive as compared to iPad 2. But in such competitive market when companies like Amazon has launched its kindle fire – quite similar to iPad but tagged with $199 – will iPad 3 get success. In my view, Apple should think twice before increasing the cost of iPad 3, since it might affect the potential market.

Galaxy S2 Skyrocket Vs Motorola RAZR : Cut-Throat Competition At The Edge

1

From Entry-level to High-end smartphones, electronics market is flooding with abundant smartphones with respective price tags. Companies like Samsung,Motorola,Apple,LG etc are striving to acquire maximum number of smartphone market share by launching their best technology at best price. The cut-throat competition in the market have resulted in two super smartphones that will be available soon in the market and are the best smartphones in 3.5-4.5 inch display category. The first of these two is the new variant of the record selling Galaxy S2 – which is Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, second one is the Motorola RAZR which is the latest innovation from Motorola getting launched in November 2011.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket has the slim and trim dimensions but Motorola RAZR is the slimmest smartphone in the category. Skyrocket weighs 130 gms and measures 9.5 mm thin whereas RAZR weighs 127 gms and is merely 7.1 mm thin which is stunningly a huge difference between the two smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket has 4.5 inch Super Amoled Plus Capacitive touch screen whereas Motorola Razr owns a 4.3 inch Super Amoled Capacitive touch screen. So Skyrocket has that ‘plus’ factor along it due to which screen quality will be vivid and much better in Skyrocket. Razr has a resolution of 540×960 whereas Skyrocket supports a resolution of 480×800 pixels because of which Razr will have much more crispy and crystal clear display than Skyrocket. Though size always matters so in this case Skyrocket is a better option for those who want more screen size but those who want good pixels should go for RAZR. Both the smartphones have 16GB of internal memory,1 GB of RAM and MicroSD support upto 32 GB.

Skyrocket is powered with 1.5 GHz Dual-Core processor whereas RAZR has a 1.2 GHz Dual- Core Cortex A9 processor which means that Skyrocket will handle processes like image editing, web surfing, multi-tasking etc with more ease than RAZR though this difference in the performance will be too small. Both of the smartphones will run on Android OS V 2.3.5 Gingerbread and both have 8MP camera with LED Flash,Geo-Tagging and Auto-Focus.Both are capable of video recording upto 1080p@30 FPS but RAZR can record video at 480p at an unbelievable rate of 120 FPS which is a big thumbs up for RAZR.

Skyrocket supports LTE 700 network and it is capable of downloading at 21 mbps and uploading at 5.76 mbps whereas Motorola RAZR is not a LTE version and supports downloading upto 14.4 mbps and uploading at 5.76 mbps. So people who want blazing fast internet downloading and surfing should definitely opt for Skyrocket. Samsung Skyrocket doesn’t have HDMI out.

So overall both the smartphones are amazingly performance delivering devices and sweet looking too though both support different features so people should opt according to their needs like If they want slimmer smartphone, crispy display,HDMI port, better video recording at lower resoultions, then they should go for RAZR. If people want bigger screen size, better processing, LTE network and blazing fast data connection, then they should opt for Galaxy Skyrocket.

Internet Users In India To Reach 121 Million By End of 2011: Rural Users More Active Than Urban

5
internet users in India 2011

India is known as the biggest supplier of software and related manpower across the world. For many years, it’s been dominating the Internet industry and has leapfrogged many countries in various sections of the technology arena. A few days back we reported that by the end of 2011 India will become the second most populated country on Facebook and stands as the third position with the maximum number of internet users. Today IAMAI – Internet & Mobile Association of India – has reported that India has passed 100 million internet users landmark this year.

According to the report, India reached 112 million internet users in September 2011 and out of which, 88 million users are from urban cities compared to 24 million users from rural areas. When the current figures are compared with last year’s figure, we have noticed that the growth during this period was around 13 percent and it’s expected to reach 121 million by the end of 2011 – if the trend continues in similar fashion.

It’s an interesting fact to know that of these 112 million internet users, 90 million users use the internet at least once in a month, out of which 70 million are from urban areas whereas 20 million from rural areas. This directly indicates that despite the low number of association from rural areas, the percentage of users connecting to the internet at least in a month is high. It also highlights the craze of rural people towards the internet.

From the report, it’s been noticed that home, as an access point, has been increased rapidly compared to 2009, whereas the usage of cyber café for internet access has reduced this year. The main reason behind such shuffle is constant growing market competition of internet connectivity which has resulted in a subsidized price of bandwidth and data. While the other most important reason is an increment of cyber café crime that has distanced many users from such cafes. One should be surprised to know that near about 26.3 million users in urban cities are used to mobile internet. This figure is expected to improve in coming years due to explosive growth in the mobile industry where users are becoming more fascinated towards smartphone that has made ease for the users to connect to the internet.

It’s been reported earlier that the number of mobile broadband subscribers will reach 5 billion by 2016. Therefore, we can assume that in the coming years, countries like India which has a 1.21 billion population will generate how much internet traffic through mobile.

Youngsters are the future of a nation and for the internet technology. Internet usage by school going kids have seen a substantial rise and accounts for21 percent of the total usage compared to college going kids and Young men, with 27 percent, individually.

Internet craze in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities is more than Metro and such cities spike their dominance over the metros with an overall 60 percent of internet usage. The main reason for such huge gap is the curiosity about internet technology among people who find this insane for them.

Of the overall activities on the internet, the most popular activities that urban people like to do on the internet are Emails, Social Networking, Music, and Text Messaging. The best example of such things can be experienced inside a bus, train, or in an office compound, where one can see such activities performed by various people. This is also the main reason behind the explosive growth of Facebook as well as LinkedIn in India. At present India is on the third spot in terms of population on Facebook whereas on LinkedIn it’s in the second spot. The total number of users associated with Facebook from India is around 38.05 million compared to LinkedIn with 11.99 million.

On average, the total number of active internet users in India is more than 79 million, out of which, at least 87 percent of urban users use the internet once a week. This shows that near about 68.73 million urban users used the internet once a week.

If the trend continues in a similar fashion, definitely India will surpass U.S whose penetration rate is 78.2 percent compared to India’s 8.4 percent, and might surpass China too by 2020 in terms of the total number of internet users.

Samsung VP Gavin Kim Departs to Lead Microsoft’s Windows Phone Team

0

In a surprise move, Gavin Kim- Samsung’s Vice President of consumer and enterprise- has departed from the company to join Microsoft as General Manager of Windows Phone Team. Kim played an imperative role at Samsung and helped to introduce new products and services to the world. Recently, he worked on content and services related to the launch of Samsung Galaxy products such as Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9/10.1.

Kim is very excited to work with Microsoft’s talents like Andy Lees, Chris Capossela, Terry Myerson, Joe Belfiore and others, to make incredible successes and move the company towards peak position. Kim takes the responsibility to shape the future of Windows Phone platform and to accelerate the company’s growth by winning the heart and mind of the consumers.

Kim stats on his depart “The fact that I’ve chosen to join the team means we get along well, we believe in each other’s capabilities, and we share a common vision, attitude, and belief about the products and partnerships that the team is creating. And, probably most importantly, we all want to win.”

During Kim tenure, Samsung succeeded to introduce line of innovative products and it might be a huge score for Microsoft also which is preparing its second-generation Windows Phone OS – Mango.

Kim said that Samsung would have very bright future and also explained, “They have brought fantastic products to the market, have a coveted technology innovation pipeline, and are committed to bring these innovations to consumers across a vast consumer electronics portfolio. There is a tremendous amount of synergy between Microsoft and Samsung and the relationship between the companies will only continue to grow stronger and more collaborative over time.”

Samsung has marked great success using Google’s Android platform in the Smartphone market and has achieved the leading position in global smartphone market. Though, Samsung is the largest maker of Android devices but it also uses Windows Phone 7 in few handset models.

However, Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 is lacking behind Android, Apple iOS and Blackberry Platforms in global Smartphone market. Despite having a partnership with Nokia – which is using Microsoft’s mobile OS Mango- company has failed to get any overwhelming response from consumers and application developers both.

Kim understands Samsung’s working style and culture very well and after joining to Microsoft, he might promote a good relationship between both the companies.

Is Facebook Getting Restless Over Google+ ! A Sense of Insecurity ?

1

It looks like Facebook is getting restless over Google’s new entrants and has started handling Google+ had-to-head. In a recent statement Mark Zuckerberg, Co-Founder & CEO of Facebook,  has claimed that Google “is building its own little Facebook” which has fueled the fire between the management of Google and Facebook. While replying Mark Zuckerberg statement, Google’s Bradley Horowitz said that the company is delighted to be underestimated by its social network rival.

Horowitz -VP of product for Google and a key person behind Google+- has directly rejected the comparison between Google+, Facebook and other social networking sites, while having discussion with Bloomberg. He directly insisted that his company is primarily focused upon making it services better and a great experience for users.

However, he declined to give an exact figure about number of users associated with Google+, but did reveal that the company estimates that Google+ has more than 40 million users. Earlier, it has been reported that Google+ has reached 50 million users base in a record time as none other social networking sites were able to achieve such landmark in small tenure.

“The three weeks [since the announcement] seem like an eternity to us and we’ve grown significantly since then”. “Our growth keeps on amazing us but there is nothing new to announce just yet,” said Horowitz.

On a question about criticism of service and low retention of users, Horowitz cunningly replied by saying that Google is delighted by the usage of Google+ and the network it is building. He also added that the new features of Google+ will help in “staggering numbers of users coming back to the service” in coming days. Google is trying its level best to engage more users from the day of its launch and  has added several enhanced features in last few months.

While discussing about the ‘Google+ Pages’ which has been introduced today, Horowitz accentuated the significance of linking Google crops together by saying that: “Google+ is not a siloed product. It is not divorced from the rest of Google, instead it is a new way of using all the Google services that you know and love.”

Currently Google+ has stiffed relationship with brands and on a question about this Horowitz recounted that Google had been forced badly to remove brands from its social networking arm Google+ in its early days of launch.

He said that: “Brands and businesses go where the users are and [after launching Google+] we suddenly had a lot of companies queuing up to enter. We had to kick them off as we wanted to do something special for brands and the users that interact with them.”

However, Google has launched ‘Pages’ today which will enable brands to have direct contact with users. This new feature will increase the interaction between brand and users; they can circle their respective brands according to their choices. Google+ has provided several medals namely Gold, Silver and Bronze in order to differentiate each brand pages according to users’ choice.

Hope these new features will take Google+ to new heights and in coming days we will see more interesting features. Have you got a chance to look at the brand pages and it features ? If not, then just have a look at it here and secure your brand/company page over Google+. Do share your experience with us and also if you like Google’s VP thought process towards Facebook CEO, share your views with us.

1

Ericsson – Technology and service provider to telecom operators across the globe has predicted that by 216, there will be 5 billion mobile broadband subscribers across the world and mobile data traffic will grow 10 folds by 2016. According to the report, mobile broadband global subscription grew by 60 percent in one year and is expected to touch 900 million by 2011 to almost 5 billion by 2016, mainly driven by video. Report also unveils that mobile traffic data will double this year mainly due to the surge in the sale of smartphones, tablets and other electronics gadgets. It’s been expected that by the end of 2011 total mobile traffic for smartphones will tripled. Interestingly, by 2016, near about 60 percent of mobile traffic will be generated by the people living over less than 1 percent of the Earth’s total land area.

“Ericsson performs a broad range of measurements in order to monitor the pulse of the Networked Society – Measurements that we use to efficiently design our products and plan networks. This report offers snapshots that, together, show how a growing number of people and businesses benefit from mobility, broadband and the cloud,” said by Johan Wibergh, Head Of Ericsson Business Unit Networks.

This report is mainly based upon the measurements that company has recorded over several years in live networks covering all regions of the world or across 180 countries. Undoubtedly, mobile data consumption is appreciating due to mobile commerce revolution in many countries like India, Africa etc. People are ditching their traditional mobile handsets for smartphones and Tablets. With constant lowering mobile data cost, the dependency over such devices has grown up. The extensive usage of smartphone apps is also major reason behind such growth. Mobile development companies have launched many advanced applications for smarter use of mobile devices. Users are quite open to spent few bucks for such apps to make their smartphone much smarter. Consequently, mobile app development market is expected to touch $100 billion by 2015. Such explosive growth has supported the related wings of mobile industry to grow together. Internet on-the-go is the buzz word of new generation and in the era of multi-tasking mobile is the future.

Google+ Launches Business Pages: Sign up, Features and Much More

2

Finally, Google has launched Google+ Pages – A business section for brands, products or companies. With this, Goole+ has taken arch rival Facebook head-to-head with all similar sections and features currently available in Facebook. Tough, Google+ Page has been rolled up to limited set of users, company has promised to make it available to everyone in next 2 days.

Now the big question is: Do Google+ Pages contain significant advantage over Facebook page or is it just another fan engagement tool on social media by Google ? There are many feature of Google+ pages that are quite identical to Facebook Pages but the biggest difference is the integration of Google Search as a Page engagement tool that makes it much more ‘wanna-be’.

If you are already using Google+ for some time now, you will find Google+ Page nothing much different. However, Google+ has made few salient changes for its ‘Page’ section to make it more valuable. Unlike Google+ personal profile where you can add people inside any of the circle and use to share information, Google+ page can only add people inside the circle but can’t share any content or information with them until people also doesn’t add Google+ Page into their circle.

However, the beauty of Google+ Page is the integration with people’s life line Google Search. Once your page is up and running, people can find your page just by adding ‘+’ button before your page name in search box. It will directly take you to respective Google+ page and ask you add the page to one of your circle. Once he adds, the like process of Google+ Page will be completed and now Page can share any information with user.

However, Google+ has also got few things complicated and confusing. On the page Google+ has decided to keep alive +1 button and ‘Add To Circle’ button. But, I have been failed to find any advantage of having +1 button as virtually does nothing but to add a link in your personal Google+ profile. Whereas ‘Ad To Page’ is just like a Facebook Like button which will enforce people to add the page into a circle in order to receive updates of that Page. I am sure it’s difficult for people to understand the whole concept of +1. Infact, many Google+ users are still pushing their friends to click on +1 button assuming the link gets share within friend’s network – which is actually not unless and until you do not share the link in your circles.

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY8L_SzNr70

So what is the use of +1 ? Google requests to wait for some more time to understand the real potential of +1 button. “We’re not done with the full realization with what happens when users click on it, and that we can expect some big things coming soon” says Bradley Horowitz, VP of product.

Anyhow, if you got the Google+ Page up for your brand or company, its time for you to add a small snippet of code with you website or blog to allow people to ‘Add to Circle’. More people will add your page into any of their circle, more you page reachability will increase.

If you want to create a Google+ Page, you need to signup here and login with your existing Google credential. In case, if you find a message to wait, just hold down for next 2 days when it will be open for all users.

How Professionals Adopt Blogging As A Promising Profession? [Study]

0

In today’s generation bloggers play an important role in providing information to the users as well as industries. Such information may be of any type including news, analysis, or Infographic depends upon the environment. A Recent survey by Technorati – conducted over 45 english spoken countries reveals that more than three fifth of the bloggers are male against two fifth female and maximum of those are in the age group of 25-44 years. Study states that in U.S, California contributes the maximum with 15 percent, followed by New York with 7 percent and Texas -6 percent of overall number of bloggers.

Survey highlights one of the most important facts that many bloggers are Graduate and out of which maximum are either entrepreneurs or professionals. On the basis of income near about half of the bloggers receive no annual salary for blogging and about 54 percent of them have reported about an annual income of more than $50,000. This directly indicates that many corporates are using revenue, from blogging, as a supplement to their household income. It also been reported that majority of bloggers are married and only 25-30 percent of them stays single.

Series of chart enlighten many more interesting facts on blogging:

  • Near about 37 percent of professional full-time bloggers say that blogging stands as their primary source of income.
  • Out of these 37 percent, around 55 percent are parents (and 57 percent of Entrepreneurs are parents). This is almost 10 percent more than other segments of bloggers (46 percent of hobbyist, 48 percent of Professional part timers and 48 percent of Corporates are parents).
  • Professional full-time bloggers are mainly self-employed and sometime more likely to be stay at home parent or retired.
  • Professional Full time bloggers (56 percent) as well as Entrepreneurs (63 percent) are more likely to be married as compared to Hobbyist (51 percent).
  • Professional full-time bloggers are older in age as compared to others. Near about 28 percent are less than 34 years of age compared to 38 percent of overall age.
  • In field of education professional bloggers lags behind Corporates bloggers, with near about 41 percent of professional bloggers have at least some graduate work (31 percent have an actual graduate degree) compared to 55 percent of Corporates bloggers.
  • On a working day near about 35 percent of Professional Full time bloggers posts nearly two to three blogs daily as compared to 24 percent of professional part-time and 16 percent corporates.
  • In a week 20 percent of Professional full-time bloggers spent more than 40 hours for blogging compared to 3 percent of corporates bloggers.
  • Around 81 percent of bloggers, whose blog is businesses, manage the blog themselves compared to 38 percent of corporate bloggers who are either full-time or part-time paid.

From the above study we conclude that bloggers have become the backbone for industries and their requirement and this will keep on increasing in coming days. In future we may probably see blogging as one of the most prominent career options among youth and professionals.

But the big question is; with such open platform and freedom of expression, will people understand the true meaning of blogging and the responsibilities ? Or, will it be penalized just by being as one of the other revenue source for people ? Do share your views in comment section.

Microsoft IE Market Share Plunged Below 50 Percent: Will Ever Revive Again ?

1

Internet Explorer was launched by Microsoft with Windows 95 in 1995 as add-on package. Since then it is one of the widely used browsers and probably the most ‘chosen’ one. It had attained the market share of 95 percent during 2002 and 2003 with Internet explorer 5 and Internet explorer 6. But with the launch of other browsers IE continuously has been losing its market charm and today, for the first time in last one decade, its market share has dipped below 50 percent. The main reason behind such plunge is the significant rise of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. One will be surprised to know that Microsoft is also loosing faith on its web browser IE and the best example is a recent tie up with Firefox.

According to NetMarketShare, IE has fallen below 50 percent in browsing war; its web traffic has reduced to 49.58 percent from 64.6 percent in November 2009. Comparatively, its competitors Firefox is holding 21.20 percent and Chrome is holding 16.59 percent of market share for global web traffic. Google Chrome has emerged as the biggest gainer in last two-year with 16.59 percent market share in November this year compare to 9.98 percent on December 2010. However Safari is still struggling with only 8.54 percent market share despite of Apple’s record sales figure of iPhone and iPad, that come pre-loaded safari browser.

Such major difference in browser market share is might be due to loads of Applications’ extensions availability on Chrome and Firefox as compared to Internet Explorer.

As we know that more and more devices are shipping with Chrome and Chrome OS;  in coming years we might see further rise in market share for Chrome browser. Even, in smartphone industry Android is leading the way where Google can leverage upon for Chrome. However, market share for Internet Explorer might go down in coming days due not-so-warm response Microsoft is receiving for Windows phone 7.

Though, its was reported the bounce back of Microsoft in Smartphone by 2015 when Windows Phone 7 may leapfrog other mobile OS. If that happens, undoubtedly IE will emerge again with up-head, probably in a new Avataar. Anyways, Microsoft has reportedly started working on the next version – IE 10.

Do you think that there is some else Microsoft should do to rank back it position in browser market. Do let us know in comment section.

What Made Apple’s Vice-President of Global Security To Quit ?

0

Apple’s Chief of Security and vice-president John Theriault has left the company after facing a long criticism over the illegitimate leak-out of iPhone 4 prototype. Before a month of his departure, Apple – world’s largest technology company- had to go through immense criticism over the miss and track down of its iPhone4 prototype.

In fact, John Theriault was a Special Agent at Federal Bureau of Investigation, came to Apple from Pfizer in 2007 and had spent a decade as chief of security at Pfizer before moving to Apple.

The incident – responsible for Theriault dismissal – was first occurred in March of 2010, when an Apple employee had lost a prototype device in Peninsula bar. Brian Hogan, who found the device, managed to sell it to Gizmodo – who leaked the device information online – by the help of Robert Sage.

In October this year, Brian Hogan and Robert Sage, had found indicted in the illegal involvement and has received one year of probation, 40 hrs of community service, and payment of $250 in restitution to Apple.

Recently, the company yet again lost the iPhone 5 prototype (Now known as iPhone 4S) in a San Francisco bar, and later, police informed them that they had traced the device in a residence. When police raided the home, along with Apple’s two employees, home owner Segio Calderon denied to have any information about the device. However, he accepted his presence in the same bar where the prototype was, reportedly, lost.

Due to such serious challenges regarding its unreleased products, Apple had put a job vacancy on its website for people, who could efficiently manage the risk associated with the products.

It has been said that Theriault, who was currently responsible for all of the Apple’s security operations, was leading an anti-counterfeit team in China in 2008, where Apple’s pirated products were getting manufactured and marketed extensively.

Since last two years, Apple’s unreleased products are facing great risk of illegitimate leak-out and need new people and a great administration to manage the risk efficiently.

In last couple of years, John Theriault – as the chief of security officer – has faced immense criticism over the security issues at Apple. And at the time, when a new CEO is reshaping the company’s operations by his own way, John Theriault has might understood that it’s the right time to move on.

It would be interestingly to know how World’s best brand secures its future products from all such misshapes, especially when people can’t live with it.
