Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (005930) never smoked anything about it till date, but rumors about smaller size variants of Samsung Galaxy S4 are constant creating enough buzz. In the wake of latest leak, Samsung is gearing up to launch multiple variants of Galaxy S4, including Galaxy S4 Mini, in July this year. The amazing market response to Samsung’s recent debut Galaxy S4 has apparently encouraged Korean electronics giants to flood the market with multiple variants matching the needs and budget of almost every users’ segment.
According to SAMMOBILE, Samsung could announce rugged Galaxy S4 as Galaxy Active, Camera focused phone Galaxy Zoom  (16 Mpx) and smaller version as Galaxy S4 Mini by end of May. However, all the devices would only be available for users from mid of July.
SAMMOBILE enjoys credible history for such rumors and this time it has exposed the launch dates along with product codes making the leaked much more reliable.

Samsung is apparently flooding the market with Smartphones having screen size of 4.3 inch and higher in next 2 months. And why not; last quarter 90% of profit was generated by Mobile phones sales while many other department disappointed Samsung. Interestingly, the successor of Apple iPhone 5 is also rumored for June debut this year with similar design but significant improvements in Camera capabilities and from software prospective.
In Q1, 2013, Apple faced the tough time against Samsung as iPhone maker registered the lowest Q-O-Q market share growth among top 5 Smartphone vendors including Chinese companies ZTE and Huawei. The second quarter doesn’t show any sign of improvement in Apple’s market position due to the absence of any new introduction. Therefore, it’s inevitable for Tim Cook to scape from any lousy or mediocre debut with respect to upcoming iPhone variant.
This will be a biggest mistake by Samsung.
