Facebook has become the most lucrative platform for advertisers as well as marketers in a short span of time. It has been regarded as one of the best social networking sites for promoting brands and products. Even, 94% of advertisers have said that they would prefer Facebook instead of other social networking sites for campaigning their products and brands. Facebook has surpassed Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and AOL to become the largest publisher of the U.S. display Ad impression. It displays 28% of the overall ad display in U.S.
Interestingly, Facebook ad impressions ratio in U.S. is much higher than combined display Ad impressions of Yahoo, Microsoft, Google and AOL.
It has also been noted that out of 900 business owners – on whom survey was conducted – 39% are planning to spend money for advertisement on Facebook in 2012.
