There is absolutely no pre-defined success roadmap one can follow and be on top of the world. It’s all about passion, excitement and zeal to learn which will drive people towards the supremacy. People like to form a cube with like minded people who can play significant role in their vision. There are many forums, discussion boards and meetups which promise to deliver all above seamlessly but among them few rise over and above than a simple networking form or revenue generation and provide a great stage where people can learn from industry champions, discuss their startup challenges, incubate respective industry and, of course, carry much valuable returns on invest of their time – OME Community is among one of them.

Trust, I am not trying to sell any brand or influence people unethically about OME Community. It’s just an appreciated return of my child brain against some of the amazing things I have learned while being a part of OME Community Meetup In Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB).

Process of learning never ends, especially when you cater to industry which is flourishing. Every time I pat myself of an excellent job, I come across another one who set an example to do better. In OME Community I found many such ‘entities’ that are unknown to industry but filled with knowledge and skills set. Few were ‘just born leaders’ who have thrown away their attractive pay-checks and dived in the world of Entrepreneurship. Some were among those who have proven themselves in the industry and flooded with knowledge power. I also found few serial entrepreneurs turned investors who hunt for the one ‘out-of-the-box’ business startup. Rest of all were either serving to some brand but trying to test the water before jumping into entrepreneurship or want to prove themselves to their employer by leaning many new things and replicating the same to benefit their expenses’ compensators.

Let it be Bharath, and ‘x’ from Google, who had emphasized on the power of online & offline community, Harish who had presented the intelligent scenario of Affiliate Marketing and its benefits or the great audience which sparked with hilarious but sophisticated Q&A session, all have one thing in common – Passion to learn, share & discuss the gravity of knowledge.

Apparently, OME Bangalore is not like any other corporate forum or brain storming gathering, it’s about what to learn, how to learn, what can you share, what people can get out from you (by hook or by crook) , networking and contests where you can grab some goody bags.

All and all, it’s a fun way of sharing knowledge and information. No matter what you do, how you do, just be a part of OME Meetup and see how can you improvise in your own wisdom. Interestingly, OME Community was not encouraging marketing of products or company promotion; it showcases what you can gain from any product, service or company.

People, like me, are witnessing the benefits and, I am sure, there would be many others who carry these benefits and share with people who can’t be a part of OME Community due to geographical issues. But thanks to Internet which has removed all obstacles on the way of knowledge broadcast and associating people with OME Community in a huge number.

People can be benefited by becoming a part of OME Community Meetup which get organized in IIM Bangalore every 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month. To know about all meetups you can join “Online Marketing Enthusiast Community” Group at Linkedin.

  2. Dear Shiva,

Would be good if you can share any upcoming event details with agenda. I can enforce Dazeinfo Team to have it under “Upcoming Meets” which may automatically get attention from some corporate users of Dazeinfo.
