It’s true, Amazon’s Kindle Fire has jeopardized Apple’s iPad business across the world. Presently, Apple is considering Amazon as its strongest rival in the Tablet segment. Augmenting demand of Amazon’s Kindle Fire worldwide has threatened to Apple’s iPad, that’s why, Apple has decided to launch its mini iPad soon. There’s a big question, whether users are really more relying on 7-inch portable Tablet? Indeed, increasing demand of kindle Fire and endeavor of other manufacturers to manufacture 7-inch Tablet are depicting that the trend is going to shift from 10-inch screen to 7-inch screen. While recent sales of new iPad has proven that users are still more relying on 10-inch screen size especially for eReading purpose.
Amazon is continuously experimenting over its Tablet for providing better users experiences than iPad. Recently, it has declared to launch color Kindle eReader. It’s well known that Amazon’s Kindle Fire is more popular among those want to read online books on their Tablet. Apple is currently providing color display for eBook contents on its iPad, which is flawless. It’s pretty clear that why Amazon has announced to launch color Kindle eReader in the market, just in order to contend Apple’s iPad.
Previously, I have also elaborated that selling of hardware device or integrated digital media is not Amazon’s primary business. By offering these products, the company is trying to stimulate sales of its physical goods as other retail giants are doing. Astoundingly, the company is selling its Kindle Fire lower than its even-cost, for just $199.
Currently, Amazon is targeting 10-inch Tablet enthusiasts worldwide. On the other side, Apple is targeting to 7-inch Kindle Fire business. Indeed, a fierce competition has been sparked out between Apple and Amazon worldwide.
