7-Inch Apple iPad Mini With Ultra-Thin Film Touch Is Coming This Fall [Report]

Must Read

There are number of speculations in the market related to the launch of Apple’s “iPad Mini“. Initially, users did not notice to the rumors because the company had already launched its new iPad in March of this year. In addition to this, there were few reasons which rebutted that Apple could delay the launch its iPad Mini ditching this year. However, I have also discussed earlier that why Apple would not launch 7-inch Tablet Mini. The company is quite precautious about the screen segmentation unlike Android based devices. The company is currently offering hundreds of thousands apps through its App store for two screen sizes–iPad and iPhone screens–devices. Indeed, it’s very tough for developers to develop such huge number of apps for 7-inch screen size iPad this time.

iPad Mini Launch

But, it’s true, the company is working on iPad Mini and going to launch the device in October of this year, as we have reported earlier. Recently, DigiTimes has also stated that the company is endeavoring to launch an ultra-thin 7.85-inch iPad Mini. The company would also implement “G/F2” thin-film technology in the device.

Apple is currently seeing a steady shipments of its iPad models worldwide, that’s why, the company is trying to outburst the market through the launch of its iPad Mini this year.

iPad Mini Ultra-Thin Film

The firm has also said that the G/F2 (Glass/Film/film) design will help the company to reduce cost the of its iPad Mini. Undoubtedly, the low price Tablet and ultra thin structure with 7-inch screen size will turmoil the Tablet market. “Business Insider” has also reported that the company is planning to launch its 7-inch iPad Mini this fall. According to the portal, the product will more emphasize to promote education with e-textbooks like some other players such as Barns & Noble.

Really, I don’t think that the lower-price of the Tablet and its smaller size could make any negative impact on the brand value of the company. Anyway, the advent of the Tablet will provide an additional option to users for wider screen selections (either 7-inch or 10-inch).

iPad Mini Pirce:

It’s being expected that company will tag the iPad Mini between $200 – $250 price to stay tough against Kindle Fire and other smaller Tablets like Nook and Galaxy Tab.
