HTC and LG are already up in the competition to deliver the latest technology to their customers and thus will soon be announcing their smartphones embedded with recently developed Quad-Core processors from Nvidia. These smartphones will be featuring Nvidia’s latest Tegra 3 SoC which is bundled with Quad-Core processor and Multi-Core GPU for amazingly fast processing and high-end gaming performance. LG X3 and HTC Edge are the recently revealed smartphones which may be getting announced at MWC 2012 or company’s official meet before  the big show. These smartphones if announced will be the first to have Quad-Core technology and will set new performance standards for the mobile devices.

HTC EDGE

HTC Edge is the first Smartphone to be recently revealed having Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset featuring Quad-Core processor and high performance GPU. The four cores of Tegra 3 chipset of the HTC Edge will be clocked at 1.5GHz and 1 GB RAM bundled with it will certainly give this smartphone the extra spice. The HTC Edge supports 32GB of built-in memory and also a MicroSD Card. The device will feature a 4.7″ screen with HD resolution to deliver vivid display and amazing viewing experience for multimedia and gaming content. Edge features 8MP camera capable of video recording at 1080p resolution with LED Flash and Auto-Focus. Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE network support can be expected with this device for sure. HTC Edge will be running Android 4.0 ICS in stock and the device will be launched in early Q2 2012.

LG X3

LG X3 is the second in the list and one of the hoghly anticipated smartphone of 2012. It will also be featuring Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC and Quad Core computing as usual. LG X3 is powered with Quad-Core processor which will have each core clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB RAM and monstrous 12 core GPU. Its packed with 4.7″ HD display having 1280×720 pixels resolution for astounding viewing experience. LG X3 has a rear 8MP camera with LED Flash,Auto-Focus,Geo-tagging etc and a 1.3 MP secondary camera too. The smartphone has 16GB of internal space and a MicroSD card slot will be there too.
Network features like 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standard 4.0 and NFC data sharing are some of the features that one can expect it for sure. Just like HTC Edge, LG X3 will be getting announced in MWC 2012.
