Nokia X7: The Rich Experience Of Multimedia Smartphone Combination

Nokia X7

With the launch of Android 2.3 Google has further incubated the war to have dominance in mobile handset industry. It has been speculated that Apple is gearing up for the next version of their flagship & most successful mobile handset – iPhone 5.0. Joining the similar speculation, Nokia is believed to launch the X7-00, a next generation multimedia mobile handset, in next few weeks with conjunction of AT&T.

Going through some tough time currently, Nokia is trying to regenerate the lost charm among people towards its handsets which has been known for its quality & value for money. Unfortunately, company has faced deep decline from the business owners who are leaning towards smartphones where Nokia don’t hold any acclaimed handset till date.

In order to balance the lost market, apparently Nokia is focusing back to Multimedia industry with upcoming handsets like X7-00. Unlike other smartphones (E7 or N8), Nokia’s X series is focused on music and rich multimedia experience. The earlier version of X series handsets – X5 and X6 carries the semi smartphones features like QWERTY slide phone. According to sources, logically Nokia X7 should be an up-model from the Nokia X6 which should also have the capabilities to complete with other smartphones currently floating in market.

Though Nokia is focused on MeeGo, an upcoming mobile OS by joint efforts of Intel, Nokia & Linux, X7-00 will be running on Nokia latest mobile platform Symbian3. The 4 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen will allow users to have real-to-life media experience with Videos and animations. Being as media smartphone, X7 will have four speakers with 16 or 32 GB of memory storage.

A high-end 8 mega-pixel camera with dual LED flash, similar to N8, will make the “click” experience truly exponential. An HDMI out-port, if available, will surely add much more value to the video experience for people.

However, 680 Mhz processor and 450 MB of internal storage is really disappointing, especially when most of the high end smartphones in market are coming with 800 Mhz or more capable processor. The 3D graphics experience can be exceptional. Nokia can officially launch X7 at Nokia World 2010 event which is scheduled for September in London this year.
