Last Friday Apple has launched the new iPhone 5 to 22 more countries and Hong Kong is among one of them. Now, a survey reveals that Hong Kong offers the best deal over iPhone 5 due to no-tax policy unlike U.S. or U.K. that allows the country to tag iPhone 5 with best price.

Setteb.it shows that while users in Italy are paying the highest for iPhone 5 due to 21% taxation law, Hong Kong is the country with most desirable deal. Apple’s iPhone 5 (unlocked) is available in U.S. for $705 after Taxes while Hong Kong offers it at $700 (aprox). Interestingly, despite of heavy duty taxes that made iPhone 5 the most expensive in Italy ($1,226), more than 300 Italian users have managed to grab the much awaited device on very first day.

Though, $5 doesn’t make much difference but the gap is narrowed only with iPhone 5; Earlier version of iPhone still carry a sizable amount of savings in Hong Kong compare to U.S. market.

Despite of all latest technological upgrades Apple iPhone 5 is still disappointing people in many areas. In fact, repeated faulty statements and apps have made the company to face criticism from its users; The latest Map issue is among one of them.

Unfortunately, Apple has no immediate plans to launch iPhone 5 in India – one of the largest mobile markets. And, company is on firing line for this too but Indian users are eagerly awaiting for unlocked iPhone 5 in grey market. Considering the latest price launch of Samsung Galaxy Note II, iPhone 5 is expected to hold the price tag somewhere between $900 – $1000 for 16 GB model. In fact, few of the online deals and ecom gadget sites have already started accepting order with special early booking discount for $975 (Rs. 51,900).

On the other hand, many users are still debate over the actual need and market need of iPhone 5. There are many who are claiming to stay intact with iPhone 4S as they see iPhone 5 just a slightly enhanced version of its predecessor. In any ways, the debate is never-ending and its all depend on users’ perception.
