Finally Microosft Corp launched its most anticipated smartphone – Windows Phone 7 – to deal with rapidly growing challenges and competition from Apple, Samsung & Sony Ericsson. As we informed yesterday about the launch of most anticipated Windows Phone 7 by Microsoft, today we get the post launch details, features and official video of Windows phone 7 functionality in real time.

A lineup of smartphones from various manufacturers, using Windows Phone 7 mobile-operating-system, clearly indicates the Microsoft’s big plans towards mobile handset market. Microsoft spend two long years to develop the new mobile OS. Unfortunately, company left behind with Apple and Samsung who launched their latest bet during that period.

The new Windows Phone 7 splits the home screen in various blocks, rather than bunch of icons, which addresses to different tasks like calendar, call logs, pictures etc. All tiles can be integrated with internet in real time and are constaly updates such as facebook status update, photos and twitter etc.

“This is a different kind of phone,” Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said at a launch event in New York.

Microsoft has made a bucket of $100 million for a new marketing campaign for Windows Phone 7. The ads focus on the chaos that ensues when people become too absorbed in their smartphones, from collisions on the sidewalk to distracted dinner companions. The point of the ads is to underscore how Windows Phone 7 is designed to let people do certain activities more efficiently without needing to constantly fumble around with their devices. The tag line of one of the ads: “It’s time for a phone to save us from our phones.”

Microsoft has unveild the new mobile OS which will be available with LG, Samsunh and HTC. Interestingly HTC showed great potential and interest by passing a strong statement towards marketing efforts for Windows Phone 7.

Ultimtely it will be people who are going to decide the faith of the Microsoft’s new baby. Probably it may take couple of months for new phone to reach in your country; we have got the official launch of Windows Phone 7 which take you through the first ever official demo of all features and functionality.
