Surprisingly, the FinTech funding in India fell slightly from $201.9 million in Q4 2018 to $194.7 million in Q1 2019. While the deal activity also fell from 13 deals to 12 during the same period.

As the graph shows, the total investment in FinTech companies in India increased a whopping 402% year-over-year in 2017, from just $1153.9 million to $5797.2 million. Out of the total $5.8 billion investment, about $3.1 billion were raised by Flipkart.
