With the Indian IT sector emerging from the global meltdown aftermath, it is finding difficult to deliver the country with lucrative career opportunities. In such situation, a placement opportunity from the world’s most valuable technology company is no less than blessings for deserving students.

Global majors like Apple, Philips and Microsoft offer placement to the IIIT students and raising smiles with lucrative pay package. As of now, 350 students have already registered for the drive.

The December is the schedule for the drive of delight and focus is on raising a breed of ‘Python’ handlers. The situation proves to be a win-win deal for the company as well as the young Turks. “We are elated that Apple has decided to come for our campus placements this year. We are not sure of the kind of profiles that the company will be offering. However, it will provide an opportunity to the graduating students to showcase their skills before representatives of the firm”, as quoted by TV Devi Prasad, Head of placements at IIIT Hyderabad.

The iPhone maker recently released its much awaited iPhone X and Indians are going gaga over the newer version. If this trial of Apple placement drive goes well then a newer market expansion will be underway soon.

Amid to the new, many of us may be wondering what made Apple select IIIT Hyderabad over IIT students.  A lush campus of IIIT Hyderabad spread over 27 hectares is the home to quality Education in engineering. With accreditation from top-notch Government organizations like NBA, the quality of future leaders is visible. The placements are already on 100 percent mark and existing annual CTC is hovering Rs. 35 lacs (US$55,000). An average student has a salary package of 18 lacs.
