After the much-awaited launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone X, it’s time for Google to place its bet on the fast-growing smartphone market with the new offering. According to the latest leaks, Google is all set to release the successor of Pixel XL, dubbed as Pixel 2 XL on October 4. To make the competition more gripping, Google has set the price of Pixel 2 XL quite competitive to other premium range smartphones.

According to droid-life, Google is all set to release Pixel 2 XL in two colours; White and Black version. If we go by the leaked images of Google Pixel 2 XL, the device looks quite alike Googe Pixel launched last year.

The rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a large single camera lens, and Google Pixel Logo are all the device has got on the back. However, the size of the rear camera lens is quite big as compared to the Google PIxel XL.

Not much of information about the front design or other specifications are available yet though, but market experts believe that Google may try to play more with inside components and at software level instead of looks and build quality with Pixel 2 XL.

The LG-made Google Pixel 2 XL will be available in two colours: Black & White and just Black.

Price of Pixel 2 XL: Challenging iPhone X And Galaxy Note 8

According to the leaks, Google has decided to price tag the upcoming Pixel 2 XL keeping the offerings on recently launched iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8. Google has set its eye on the premium smartphone market share of Apple and Samsung, and to eat into their share Google may launch Pixel 2 Xl with very aggressive price starting from $849. The price of Pixel 2 XL (64 GB) may be as low as $849, while the 128 GB version of Pixel 2 XL could be available for $949. To put the things in perspective, the price of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Apple iPhone X starts at $920 and $999, respectively.

Google will also offer the finance on Pixel 2 XL to make it more affordable for people. The 64GB of Pixel 2 Xl will be available for just $35.38/mo over 24 months and 128GB version will cost people nearly $39.54/mo.

All said and done, while the price of Pixel 2 XL looks quite lucrative considering the specifications, built quality and many other features that no other Android smartphone offers. However, the launch is just around the corner and soon we will come to know what Google has got this time to amaze all those who are desperate to buy one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year.
