Sony Computer Entertainment and Bend Studio are bringing the first mobile version of the Uncharted game series for their recently launched PSP Vita. Uncharted Golden Abyss, one of the most awaited game title for Playstation Vita will get released in Europe on February 22,2012 whereas in North America on February 15, 2012. Though in Japan, the game got released as a launch title on December 17,2011. This upcoming mobile version of the game for Sony PSP features the same old action-adventure genre where players have to explore mysterious landscapes, ruins, undiscovered temples etc. to reveal the truth behind the cunning plot. Just like the previous installments of the game, Uncharted Golden Abyss features cinematic graphics, highly detailed world,picture-perfect environment, stunning visual effects and well-knit storyline.

“Developed by award-winning Sony Bend Studio, Uncharted: Golden Abyss is the portable system debut of the multi-million selling Uncharted franchise. The game offers a cinematic experience on-the-go complete with industry-leading motion capture, a rich storyline, highly detailed environments, and special effects that truly captures the look and feel of the Uncharted universe.”

The above snapshots of the game clearly depicts that how nicely the detailing of the characters and the environment is done in the game. The developers really did a great job in bringing the Uncharted game series on mobile platform of Sony PSP as the game fully serve the purpose of action-adventure genre with astounding graphics and hard-to-believe visual effects. The combination of such amazing console-like graphics and the advanced sensors integrated in PSP will definitely give a new gaming experience for the lovers of Uncharted game series. The question arises that will this upcoming game title improve the sales figure of Sony PSP or not.

The thing is that, since released, Sony PSP is not getting any extra-ordinary reaction from the console lovers in Japan though they got Uncharted Golden Abyss as the launch title in December 17,2011 which may be due to the overwhelmed tablet market but its sure that when the game title will be released in North america and Europe, it will definitely improve the sales of Sony PSP Vita. The above assumption is not a mere guess but is supported by the fact that Sony PS3 performed well in the last quarter of 2011 when the Uncharted 3 was released exclusively for PS3 and Sony sold almost 6.5 million units of the Playstation 3 game consoles at that time. Also the Uncharted 3 The Drake’s deception became the winner of several ‘game of the year’ awards and approx. 3.8 million copies of it were shipped worldwide.

The plot of the game is described by Sony as “Uncover the dark secret behind the massacre of a Spanish expedition to Central America some 400 years ago. Caught between the rivalry of old friend, Jason Dante, and Marisa Chase, the granddaughter of an archaeologist who mysteriously vanished, you’re going to have to traverse ancient ruins and treacherous jungle terrain in a bid to find out the truth. Do you think you have what it takes to venture deep into the Golden Abyss on PS Vita? Then here is your chance to prove it”.
