LG, a major mobile manufacturing company, presently is much in the rumors for its various upcoming smartphones. There was already a rumor floating all around about LG’s soon to be announced smartphone LG Miracle and now LG itself has released a video clip in their official YouTube channel, teasing the audience about their latest and upcoming LG Optimus Vu. The special feature of Optimus Vu is its huge 5″ display having 4:3 ratio, with which it will be directly competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Note. LG didn’t revealed much about the smartphone regarding the specification though the geeks have already started guessing about the hardware from LG.
Actual specification of LG Optimus Vu is still a mystery but according to various rumors all around the corners of web LG Optimus Vu will be featuring 5″ NOVA display with 1024×768 pixels resolution. To handle such a huge and vivid display, it may be powered with 1.5 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm WPQ8060 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM. The smartphone is expected to feature 8 MP camera capable of HD recording at 1080p and should have features like Auto-Focus,LED Flash,Geo-Tagging etc. The device should support Near Field Communication to maintain its advance entity in the smartphone market. Features like Bluetooth v3.0,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n etc are obvious to be supported by the device. LG Optimus Vu seems to be running on Android 2.3 gingerbread by stock but with such heavy specification,its sure get Android 4.0 ICS update in near future. will This latest smartphone from LG will be competing with Samsung Galaxy Note head-to-head in the smartphone market. Samsung Galaxy Note features 5.3 ” Super Amoled display with 800×1280 pixels resolution. The Galaxy Note is powered with Dual-Core 1.4 GHz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU. The smarphone is packed with 8 MP camera capable of HD video recording at 1080p resolution and features a secondary 2 MP front camera also. Lets see whether this latest upcoming smartphone can compete with Galaxy Note or Note. LG Optimus Vu is expected get announced in Mobile World Congress 2012 at Barcelona.
