Computers have taken over many facets of our lives which includes activities, which we wouldn’t have let them down a few decades back. One of those activities is letting them trade stocks, bonds and other financial instruments on our behalf. Now when I speak on computer-trading or more accurately algorithmic or automated trading, I am not referring to online trading, which I’m sure quite a few readers of this site is familiar with.

India's fifth biggest Telecom Network provider, Tata Tele Services has selected Nokia Seimens Network as technology partner for rolling out its third generation mobile telephony services across the country, reported by Reuters. Financial details of the deal has not been disclosed yet.

RIM is really going through hard time, atleast in India these days. Skype, a software company which allows people to call over Internet, has filed for IPO. Skype which was aquired by eBay in 2005 and later sold to private investors last year is all set to re-emerge as its own public traded company. A VoIP service provider which has filed with SEC for its first public offer is expected to raise minimum $ 100 million through IPO.

After much of criticism, dialogs, allegations and many turning points Research in Motion (RIM), makers of BlackBerry, has cracked a deal with Saudi Arabia Regulatory Authority to ensure uninterrupted services for all Blackberry users in kingdom. With such agreement on Saturday RIM averted the possible ban on BlackBerry services due to accessibility issue on user's data.

Things are not going in the BlackBerry way, at least for now. After a major setback in UAE and Saudi Arabia where BlackBerry services will no longer be available after 11 October, it's time for Indian BlackBerry customers who need to worry now. In a recent move BlackBerry expressed its inability to meet the demand by Indian Government saying no one including the company could access the encrypted data. With this statement BlackBerry hit the wall where services may be banned in India too.
