People don’t want to keep listening about your activities – until you are a celebrity or public figure. You should not bug up you’re your tweets by talking only yourself most of the time.
Be much more responsive than active. The response rate is much higher from people who have less than 1000 followers. It’s difficult to pay attention to each and every tweet and therefore you should concentrate and maintain an pro-active list of followers instead just identical numbers.
Don’t be negative thought donor. People come to Twitter to have share their happiness and get along with people who can make them feel good. Avoid feeling your tweets with sadness, criticism, negative or personal aggressive feelings. It will only draw people away from you on Twitter.
