RIM is really going through hard time, atleast in India these days. Toughening its stand on Sunday, India Govt has issued an ultimatum to RIM (BlackBerry) to get in-lined with the security concerns and any other proposal would be unaccepted but to install server in India for tracking its messenger and enterprise mail service as the offer made by it to provide data from its Canada-based server could be detrimental to national security.

Facebook has decided to implement a new feature in it's addictive social networking site called “Places” which allows FB users to share their locations with friends & relatives. With this, the company has extended its reach into the real world from the virtual one at a time when there is significant concerns about privacy, which caught it in the wrong foot. Facebook however. expects acceleration in sales ad revenue with Places.

After much of criticism, dialogs, allegations and many turning points Research in Motion (RIM), makers of BlackBerry, has cracked a deal with Saudi Arabia Regulatory Authority to ensure uninterrupted services for all Blackberry users in kingdom. With such agreement on Saturday RIM averted the possible ban on BlackBerry services due to accessibility issue on user's data.

Things are not going in the BlackBerry way, at least for now.
