Microsoft is announcing today that its has integrated Facebook and windows Live Messenger into Outlook, making million of Outlook users closer to social networking and adding a bench for huge Facebook Users with Outlook. Just last year Microsoft announced the integration of Social Networking feeds into Outlook by Social Networking Connector to give you an instant information & update inside Outlook.

The world's biggest maker of Web-based software charged that Microsoft is infringing five Salesforce patents in programs, including in the Windows Server operating system and the widely used .Net platform. "Microsoft's continuing acts of infringement have caused and are causing irreparable harm to Salesforce.com," the complaint said.

Microsoft’s next version of Windows client is far enough along that the Windows team seems to have begun sharing details about its goals with Microsoft’s PC partners. According to the company, the service also allows users to receive, read and reply to emails on SMS. The service also enables efficient viewing of emails by specifying the email address or domain from which one would like to receive alerts on SMS

Officially joining the browser-based productivity game, Microsoft late Monday released the browser-based versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. The Office Web Apps, as the programs are dubbed, are slimmed down versions of the desktop counterparts, allowing for document viewing, sharing, and lightweight editing.

Although Microsoft won't say when it will arrive, the next version of Windows Server won't be another minor release.
