After RIM (BlackBerry) Indian Govt. Twists Ears of Google & Skype

The controversy over the access to users' data, which has marked a big question mark on RIM (Blackberry) services, has got a new twist with the extended warning to Google Inc, Skype Technologies SA and few other service providers. Besides RIM (BlackBerry) Govt has asked other companies to set up local servers in India like Research in Motion (RIM) which would allow security agencies to monitor mail traffic.

Boot the Indian Server or Shut Down : Govt to RIM (BlackBerry)

RIM is really going through hard time, atleast in India these days. Toughening its stand on Sunday, India Govt has issued an ultimatum to RIM (BlackBerry) to get in-lined with the security concerns and any other proposal would be unaccepted but to install server in India for tracking its messenger and enterprise mail service as the offer made by it to provide data from its Canada-based server could be detrimental to national security.

With such agreement on Saturday RIM averted the possible ban on BlackBerry services due to accessibility issue on user's data.

Record Earning For Apple in Q2 Financial Results

Just now Apple has announced Q2 results for fiscal year 2010 and the company has once again bested its own records, this time reporting an astounding $15.7 billion in revenue and a net quarterly profit of $3.35 billion.
