BlackBerry Torch 9800, a much hyped touch smartphone from RIM, has disappointed company, specially at the cash book when it comes to sales numbers at first few days. Launched to compete with growing popularity of iPhone from Apple, BlackBerry Torch was expected to regain its lost grounds in North American market which does seem to accomplish by "Torch".

Dell's new Tablet Device "Dell Streak" is all set to launch in US on 12 August with new price tag. A 5 inch tablet device, with a price tag of $299 with 2 years contract of At&T or unlocked edition at $549.99 will challenge Apple's iPad, RIM's BlackPad and Microsoft's Tablet PC ( Yet to be launched) with its smaller offerings and low price.

Mobile market is blowing so the competition. All major companies are struggling to rule the market anonymously. Undoubtedly Apple has left others behind, if not beaten, with its flagship product iPhone. Dethroning Apple's iPhone may be too big to chew for few old market leaders like LG & Nokia, who are struggling to find the pace in the market now.

On Tuesday, Research in Motion (RIM) has officially launched its first ever smartphone "BlackBerry Torch". As expected Company has presented the new smartphone as an answer to Apple's iPhone and Samsumg's GalaxyS, lunched just few weeks back. BlackBerry Torch is loaded with OS 6.0, RIM's new mobile platform, which is having direct competition with Google's Android.

Anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock would probably heard about the iPhone , Apple’s now legendary phone offering that spawned an entire blue ocean ecosystem of handsets, music and applications. They say the sincerest form of flattery is imitation and Google’s Android attempted to do just that by providing an iphone-like OS for 3rd party manufacturers in order to curb Apple’s influence and market share in the touchscreen smartphone market.
