World’s largest professional network service provider Linkedin has agreed to acquire ChoiceVendor, a startup that provides real-world ratings and reviews of business-to-business service providers in more than 70 categories across the United States. Linkedin is looking committed to enhance their service furthermore in order to counter business threats from Facebook & Twitter.

Facebook has gone far beyond the quirky college start-up it once was, with revenue around $800 million last year and profit in the tens of millions, according to a Reuters report. But it could do a lot better, and make its critics far more comfortable, through optional premium memberships like Linkedin Business Model.

Professional social network LinkedIn now has 70 million members, according to the company’s home page. The company hit 60 million users in February, and has been growing fast, especially in international markets. LinkedIn’s network’s CEO, Jeff Weiner, stated in a blog post last fall that half of LinkedIn’s membership is international.
