Facebook has decided to implement a new feature in it's addictive social networking site called “Places” which allows FB users to share their locations with friends & relatives. With this, the company has extended its reach into the real world from the virtual one at a time when there is significant concerns about privacy, which caught it in the wrong foot. Facebook however. expects acceleration in sales ad revenue with Places.
Facebook has just confirmed that it is on verged of rolling new Facebook ‘Like’ button which is getting display all over the web these days. Company assured that the new variations of the Like button to make it more seamless for people to like content and share it with their friends
It seems Google is closing corners to launch its social networking initiative - Google Me, a Facebook competitor. With its latest move - acquisition of Slide Inc, a social widget makes, clearly indicates the head path of the company. Slide Inc develops applications and virtual goods for Facebook, MySpace and other websites.
