On Wednesday, Google Inc introduced a new feature which changed the way search results get produced. This new feature which has the ability to produce the results based on intelligent typing & word has been named as "Google Instant". Company claims that people can save 5 -10 seconds in search results production due to new feature. Company also made more than 500 changes to the way it ranks the websites.

Technology Giants are not ready to compromise for any portion of the business, at least in the case of Google & Apple. Stepping up rivalry, Google Inc is in talks with Music labels to launch its music store, a competitor of Apple’s iTune, as reported by Reuters. Google’s Music Store can be launched as early as by Christmas this year.

How far can you go when your product is almost reaching to its saturation level ? That's exactly Google is trying to do these days. In order to compete with Facebook & Twitter, which are slowly covering up Google's source of revenue from ads, Google is trying to produce better way of search results display. Company is trying to flunk the traditional way of search results by testing a feature that displays live-updating search results as you type your search query, no keystroke on “Enter” or “Return” required.

The Social media industry has a new agenda, that of scaling up to next generation computation. The nature of the industry itself implies that a relatively small number of players control the global social networking eco system and this is leading to a vigorous battle on this front.. Google has been pinched by the core due to enormous rise of Facebook and company barely has anything in hand which can encounter such situation, besides being just a spectator; atleast for now.

Google has released one of its new product of browsers named "Crome to Phone". A feature which wwill allow you to download websites and read it from your mobile desktop itself. Currently this is available on with Android 2.2 (Froyo) supported mobile handsets. "Crome to Phone" allows mobile internet users to have rich experience of web in a different way.

The war of Java has reinstated between two silicon heavy weights – this time in court room. On late Thursday, Oracle has released press note saying it has filed a law suit against Google claiming egregious IP infringement. This is going to have direct impact on Google’s most appreciated mobile OS – Android which runs on Java & Open Source technology and may put on hold Android 2.2 ( Froyo)

On Tuesday, 10 August, Seoul Police, Korea, raided Google's Korea office to probe potential violation of the country's telecommunications privacy-law, n the latest move by authorities around the world to ratchet up scrutiny of the Internet search giant's privacy practices. It has been alleged that company is illicitly collecting sensitive personal information from wireless networks.

It seems Google is closing corners to launch its social networking initiative - Google Me, a Facebook competitor. With its latest move - acquisition of Slide Inc, a social widget makes, clearly indicates the head path of the company. Slide Inc develops applications and virtual goods for Facebook, MySpace and other websites.
