Top rated Social Networking website Facebook will soon launch service to cater Asian users where Credit card won't be required to buy any Digital Goods like ebooks, app, games etc. with partnership with Malaysian company named MOL Global, Facebook eyeing more Revenue potential & online trading by Asian members. Known as little less comfortable with Credit Card transaction, Asian people still rely more on prepaid cards compare to credit cards.

Airtel users access Facebook Free of Cost – At least for sometime

Facebook's mobile site m.facebook.com is accessible free of cost to 130 Million Airtel customers across India till August 31, 2010. In-line to this, Airtel customers who are Facebook users will be able to post status updates, comment and write on walls, message others, and also be able to view and upload photos without any data charges. According to Bharti Airtel, its existing mobile internet customers can immediately start connecting with their friends by visiting the Facebook mobile site.

Finally Apple Admits iPhone 4.0 Glitch

We did not see this coming: after initially dismissing the reports about iPhone 4 antenna reception issue, Apple has officially admitted it exists, promising a software fix in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the fix may not be good news for users experiencing the problem. Apple claims it has erroneously calculated the formula which displays signal bars on the iPhone, and therefore the iPhone has been showing too many bars in areas with weak signal strength.

Salesforce sues Microsoft

The world's biggest maker of Web-based software charged that Microsoft is infringing five Salesforce patents in programs, including in the Windows Server operating system and the widely used .Net platform. "Microsoft's continuing acts of infringement have caused and are causing irreparable harm to Salesforce.com," the complaint said.

A group of MIT researchers has demonstrated a method of network topology that could render the Internet 100 or even 1,000 times faster than it is today. The “magic” behind the concept is to eliminate or reduce the most time-intensive part of data transmission, which involves converting an optical signal into an electrical signal for memory storage.
