The above graph represents the number of Tech Mahindra Software Professionals by quarter, starting from fiscal Q1 2005 to the recently completed quarter. Tech Mahindra’s total headcount declined nearly 1% QoQ to 130,839 people in FY Q3 2020. Interestingly, over 55.9% of those were software professionals. The Indian IT firm added approx 482 software experts during the three months ended December 31, 2019, making the total count to 73,079 people.

One must note that as of FY Q4 2017, Tech Mahindra employed 82,403 software professionals from all around the world – the highest-ever till date. However, this figure declined to 78,996 people in the following quarter.
In FY Q1 2014, Tech Mahindra’s global headcount was 83,063 people. Out of those, 53,337 employees belong to the company’s IT team.
