The above graph represents Amazon annual revenue by region. Amazon posted its highest-ever revenue of $232,887 million in 2018, with a year-over-year increase of 30.9%. The United States seems to be the biggest market for Amazon as nearly 68.7% of the company’s total revenue in 2018 came from that region. Amazon’s annual revenue from the US has increased an appreciable 33% YoY in 2018, to $160,146 million ($160.15 billion).

Germany, which is the second-largest market for Amazon, contributed only 8.5% to the company’s overall revenue in 2018. The total annual revenue from Germany in 2018 increased a notable 17.3% YoY to reach $19,881 million ($19.9 billion). This is followed by the United Kingdom and Japan, registering an annual revenue of $14,524 million ($14.5 billion) and $13,829 million ($13.8 billion), respectively.
