Oppo Market Share In India: History!

From just 2% to 10%, Oppo’s shipment share in India smartphone market increased significantly from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017. In both, the first and second quarter of 2017, Oppo secured the fourth spot in India’s smartphone market with a 10% share. The Chinese player was trailing behind another Chinese rival Vivo. However, after that, it started declining and reached the lowest i.e. 6% share in Q4 2017, due to the growth of Xiaomi in the country. It is important to note that the fourth quarter of 2017 was the very first time when Xiaomi became India’s number 1 smartphone brand in terms of shipment.
