A survey was conducted by Jamf, an Apple-focused technology management company, to see what drives the Mac in the Enterprise segment and whether or not the people are satisfied by it. The recently released results related to the Mac speak extremely highly of the Apple device, and that is putting it mildly. The numbers involved throw light on both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the Apple device.
For starters, 79% of the people surveyed claimed that they would not be able to do their job as well as they do without a Mac. When asked about the impact of the Mac on the individual parameters of the job, they had this to say:-
- 97% claimed an increase in productivity.
- 95% claimed that their creativity improved.
- 94% claimed that it improved their self-sufficiency with technology.
- 91% claimed that it increased their collaborations.
What About the Mac Endears It So Much to Its Users?
The answer to the above question lies in a couple of factors. The first among them is the ease of usage. 89% of the people surveyed claimed that the applications of the Mac were easier to use than applications on any other device or platform. In addition to this, 94% of people claim that finding applications on the Mac are comparatively much easier. 65% of the respondents even went on to claim that they go through the App Store to find applications related to their work. In fact, the respondents belonging to HR and Marketing departments claim that the Mac integrates better with the applications that they require for their work.
The other important factor which endears it so much to the people is its reliability. Not only do the people find the Mac easy to work with, but they can also depend on it to run properly without issues for a long period of time. In fact, 40% of the respondents found no issues with the Mac in the past 12 months and 70% experienced two or fewer issues in the same timeline. Out of the reported issues, a lot of them dealt with network problems, with no fault of the device. Of the people who have experienced working with PC’s before, 74% found that they experienced fewer issues after switching over to the Mac.

The above survey throws light on the fact that not only is the Mac very effective and reliable in an Enterprise, but it has also become a necessity for the respondents to work with. Working with has a direct effect on the parameters of their job along with creating minimal to no issues in the process, unlike that of a PC.
