It’s quite likely that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will launch new 2019 iPhone models in September this year, like it did a year back when the company surprised many with 3 models of iPhone – iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. While there is no official announcement by the company yet, the new information about the 2019 iPhone is no less than a surprise.

11 models of iPhones have just appeared in the EEC database with model numbers A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, and A2223. Although there are 11 variants of 2019 iPhones that are listed, it does not mean they all will be launched as a separate model. Apple, as usual, launches different configurations of iPhones in different parts of the world, which vary on the basis of cellular bands, SIM, camera, and other components.

However, the list is huge and it leaves for anyone guess what’s the world’s most valuable brand is up to this year.

While paying close attention to these numbers, there are four models of iPhones that are, probably, hidden here – A2111, A216, A221 and A222. The rumours claim that A216 is the successor of iPhone XR, while A 221 and A222 could emerge as the successor iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

The mysterious series A2111 could be an indication to a cheap version of the iPhone to capture the price sensitive yet quite potential markets, like India.

2019 iPhone: Upgrades To Woo Smartphone Users

Apple could be upgrading the successor of iPhone XR and iPhone XR with an extra camera. Dubbed as iPhone 11R and iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max, all the three successors of iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max could receive a significant upgrade to stay competitive in the market. It’s quite likely that Apple will launch iPhone 11 Max in two variants – one with dual camera and the other one with a triple camera.

Just a few days back some leaked images of iPhone 11 and 11 Max were shared by a trusted leaking source Onleaks.

The 2019 iPhone is rumoured to sport same sizes of displays like its predecessors. However, apart from the new A13 series processor it will have new features like improved Face ID, reverse wireless charging, more RAM, and bigger batteries. The outer appearance could be a frosted glass design for the back of the 5.8 and 6.5-inch devices while 6.1-inch iPhone could come in new lavender and green shades.

It is believed that the additional lenses in 2019 iPhone will be an ultra wide camera provided by Sony, which helps to increase the zoom capability of the phone’s cameras. The front camera of all the three new iPhones will likely upgrade to 12MP CIS+5P lens compared to current 7MP CIS+40 lens. It is also expected that  “black lens-coating technologies”  will be used on the rear wide-angle lens and the front camera of the upcoming iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max.

The EEC filings reveal all the new devices that have been added to the database run on iOS 12, although iOS 13 is around the corner and would be available for all models of existing and iPhone as a free update. Apple is expected to release iOS 13 along with a lot many new features during the upcoming WWDC 2019 in June.

For the next few months, the internet will be flooded with a lot of speculation and rumours about 2019 iPhone. The excitement of consumers would continue to build up but everyone will have to wait till September when Apple finally unveils what it has planned to surprise smartphone consumers this year.
