World’s ‘Most Admired Company’ Apple Inc is going to launch Apple TV in India next week. Various version of much appreciated device would be available in India between the price ranges of Rs. 6,600 to 7,900/-.

This is the quickest launch ever of Apple Inc products for Indian market. Previously, it used to take quite some time for Apple to debut in Indian market. However, since the launch of iPhone 5 with absolute reformed strategy, Apple seems quite aggressive towards Indian market.

Apple India website first broke out the news of Apple TV launch in India. The device is technically a media streamer which connects with your HDTV and also ties up with your iTune account. The most lovable aspect of Apple TV is its sharing capacity between your friends.

Users of Apple TV can connect their HDTV using HDMI cable. Interestingly Apple users who also have good collection of entertainment contents on their other Apple devices, like iPhone or iPad, can share or rent the contents with friends on Apple TV instantly.

Apple decision is immensely complimenting the time of Apple TV launch in India. Currently, Indian entertainment industry is going through cable digitization making Set-Top box mandatory in all Tier-1 cities. The government has also planned to roll out the system for Tier-2 cities shortly. Sales of LCD and LED TVs are all time high and users are leaning towards HD quality contents to ensure the best ROI. Unfortunately, only countable number of channels is offering contents in HD quality and very few with Full HD capacity. This has made early adopters and entertainment geeks to turn towards Internet to satisfy their needs of HD quality content.

Besides, sales figures of iPhone and iPad have never been so aggressive in India. In last 3 months alone, Apple Inc has recorded 400% growth in iPhone sales – all due to restructured focused pricing strategy for price-conscious country like India.

  2. @Dazeinfo shouldn’t Apple TV be Rs. 5700? I won’t buy because 4 Mbps dedicated Internet which is Rs. 1000/month is required.
