What Google To Unfold On October 29: Nexus Smartphone, 32 GB Nexus 7 Tablet Or Android 4.2 Update

Must Read

Google’s intention is not yet clear what the leading search giant is trying to do. Now, it has confirmed to hold an event on October 29. Interestingly, the event has been scheduled on the date when both Apple and Microsoft will already have launched their Tablets. It’s pretty known that Apple is going to launch 7-inch ‘iPad Mini’ on October 23 and Microsoft will start shipping ‘Surface Tablet’ on October 26. The emphasis of the invitation is quite focused on Android that seems from its quotations: ‘Join us for an Android event’.

But it’s still a mystery what Google is going to announce in the event. It could be a debut of new ‘Google TV’. If Google does so, definitely it would hit ‘two targets with a single arrow’. However, we showed off earlier that Google could unveil Android 4.2 in the event. There’s also a probability that it could co-host the event with LG in order to unveil ‘Optimus G Nexus’ smartphone.

In addition to these, Google could also launch 32 GB version of Nexus 7 Tablet on October 29. Previously, it was speculated that Google could host an event on November 5 for 32 GB Nexus Tablet—but two events within a week seems little weird. Most probably, Google could introduce 32 GB Nexus Tablet on October 29.

One of the reasons could be:  Apple’s iPad Mini as well as Microsoft’s Surface Tablet will debut in the market next week, and of course, October 29 would be the right time for Google to launch its new Tablet to distract significant number of users from iOS and Windows platforms.

We have already told that Google is now trying to make a smartphone in ‘Nexus 7 format’ and it’s working with handful of manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC. But, there’s more likelihood that Google could co-host the event with LG and it will unveil ‘Optimus G Nexus’ smartphone.

Apparently, upcoming Android 4.2 version has been in a limelight since last couple of weeks. Android’s latest version would have nominal update over Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). However, the new version will have better management and an improved Google Play Store. For a minute just think about the intent of the sentence what Google has mentioned in its invitation: “The playground is open“. One thing is quite clear that Android 4.2 version is going to be disclosed in the event and other products would be ’32 GB Nexus 7 Tablet’ and ‘Optimus G Nexus’.
