Apple iPad Mini Launch Is Set On 23 October – Apple Sends Out Invitation In Style !

Apple has just started sending invitation for another event to be held on October 23 – exactly 3 days before than Windows 8 release day. The invitation is ‘presumably’ for iPad Mini launch – a device which is being talked much over internet. iPad Mini is being considered as Apple’s answer of Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle HD in small screen size Tablet market.

The tag line of the invite says “We have got little more to show” along with Apple’s top head of logo. Interestingly, Apple has decide to hold the event at the California Theater, San Jose, Calif – the place which is at ‘stone throw away’ distance from courtroom where the major much-hyped trial happened against Samsung.

Apple iPad Mini – What’s Inside

As we already saw this coming long back and got sneaked information and pictures about Apple iPad Mini configuration, the launch is still with some delay due to various unwelcome conditions. However, Apple is trying everything possible to make the ‘younger brother’ of most successful and applauded iPad. After all its iPad which is holding majority of iOS market-share and having edge over Apple’s flagship product iPhone.

Besides, the speculations over price is also taken an interesting debate and rumors claim that Apple is indirectly forced to cut-down the actual price to make it a strong contender of Nexus 7 and Amazon HD. Speculations claimed that Apple decided to keep the price close to $400 but after the launch of 3G version of Google Nexus 7 and Kindle HD by Amazon, Apple discounted iPad Mini to $249 for starting version.

A Strategy To Play Down Microsoft

Possibilities of ‘intent delay launch’ couldn’t be ruled out also. It’s just 3 days before when Microsoft will be unveiling its much-awaited and much-dependent Windows 8 OS and Windows Phone 8 OS – along with “Surface” Tablet. Apple may have well calculated the benefits of introducing Apple iPad Mini just under the sleeves of Microsoft.

Btw, it was interesting to learn that only 18% U.S. people want to own iPad Mini and with such trend in air, it would be more interesting to see how Apple could change it !
