In next few days, you may find yourself on the surprise shuttle once you log-in to your Facebook account. In a latest twist, company has decided to release the updated Timeline to all 955 million users – no matter you like it or not.
The new Timeline, released in January only to few selected users, has been kept as an ‘optional’ feature till date which is going to run out of luck and choice. However, the Timeline received mixed response from users as 70% of them decided to stay away only to stand by the side of old styled profile page.
In last six months, Facebook made multiple efforts to make the new Timeline more interactive and acceptable through the addition of various small features and components. The new Timeline was first rolled out for Facebook pages which almost killed the market of many Facebook App developers & companies who relied heavily on Facebook old Timeline.
Now Facebook is , apparently, up with another major roll-out of Pages and to make that seamless, company has decided to bring all the users on standard platform by forcing them to live with new Timeline.
Trust me, despite of being avid Facebook users; you have no option to choose now. So, if you are one of the users who have kept themselves away from new Timeline till day, it’s time for you to gear up and update your profile page before its looks messy with the new Timeline.
This could be just the beginning as Facebook has many more plans pertaining to site revamp and features roll out as its get closer to billion users mark sand celebrate that in style.
