As penetration of Smartphone is increasing, with the similar fashion, mobile search spending are making a strong impression into the global market. According to a recent study, the mobile searches spend increased by 250% in the Q1 of this year compare to the prior year. In the UK, the mobile searches spend in Q1, 2012, accounted 11% of all searches, while it was just 8% in the U.S.    In addition to these, the mobile traffic has also been increased by 4 folds during the same period compare to the Q1 of the prior year.

It has been noticed that mobile search is more emphasizing on local coverage, which people are looking around. The average searches on Android and iPhone have somewhat double keywords than the average desktop searching engine. That’s why; the search on mobile handsets quickly gets off compare to desktops. Microsoft has reported that 70% of mobile search tasks  are put on end within one hour, while desktops takes one weeks to accomplish 70% of PC search.

Despite of these, users are being frustrated due to non-optimized websites. The mobile and desktops searches are considered disparately due to the differences in their searching behaviors. A marketing firm has reported that 26% Smartphone owners are more likely to use mobile websites, but they are not doing so, because a significant numbers of websites are non-optimized for mobile platform. On the contrary, 50% UK respondents (during research) were displeased with mobile shopping experiences.

Indeed, mobile users are now frequently using their device for searching purposes. Now, mobile platform is going to be great for marketers and advertisers. But, it will create a big scope for them only when their websites will be optimized for mobile platform. In nutshell, for drawing attention, websites should easily be identified by mobile search engine.
