With Whooping 9 Million Pre-Orders Of Galaxy S3, Samsung Toppled The World

Must Read

Indiscriminately, Samsung is the world’s leading Smartphone manufacturer, sold 38 million Smartphones in Q1 of this year. The company unveiled its Galaxy S III model at “London Event” on March 3 of this year. Indeed, the device has outstandingly been designed in order to lure a vast numbers of users worldwide. According to the Korea Economic Daily, Samsung has got 9 million pre-orders of Galaxy S3 model worldwide including device sold by 290 operators in 145 countries. Prior to such huge pre-order, the company got 1 million pre-orders for Galaxy S in 2010 and 3 million orders for Galaxy S II in the last year.

Citing to an unidentified Samsung official, the daily said that company’s Smartphone factory in South Korea  has capacity to produce only 5 million units in every month. In order to meet the demand, the company will have to work for two months.

Anyway, 9 million pre-orders for any Smartphone model is really an “exalted feat”. However, Samsung has designed Galaxy S III  in order to contend all pre-existed Smartphones from pedigreed manufacturers in the market. Undoubtedly, Samsung snatched the supremacy from Apple in the last quarter, but it seems very difficult for iPhone manufacturer to hold its dignity once back.
