With the introduction of Google+ Hangouts, it’s a chance for the teachers, brand promoters, business professionals, doctors, friends and many more users to virtually hangout live via Google+ and finally get their hangout video posted into YouTube. It’s also an opportunity for those fame crazy and time killing people out there.
Google product manager ‘Amit Fulay’ about the addition of apps to Hangout announced:
“Hangouts are great for spending time together, as well as doing things together. That’s why we’ve been adding apps to Hangouts since the launch from YouTube to Screen sharing to Google Docs. Today we’re introducing a starter set of featured apps, and enabling developers to share any hangout app with the entire Google+ community”.
Tools are provided to install Google voice and video plug-in. Google+ hangouts can be accessed through Smartphones too. So now all the smartphone users can have a group conference on their Google+ network. This has become the favorite of many users across the globe.
Using Google Hangouts one can stream their hangout in Google+ while in the mean time YouTube records it. The user need to start a hangout, invite people and name it. It is vital to enable Hangouts ON Air option before clicking on “hang out”. The host who starts the hangout has the authority to invite more users for hangout. The users can comment live during hangout. Also a copy of embedded code from hangout can be included in any external website.
After your hangout is over, click on the “Start broadcast” button. Later you will be prompted to agree to the Terms and conditions. If your YouTube Account is not verified yet, the Hangout will prompt you to do so. The recorded video will then be visible on your YouTube account channel publicly and anyone can watch it. The post can be re shared.
Built-in Hangout features include:
- Interact with up to 10 members in group video.
- Adjust hangout microphones, cameras, speakers and volume levels.
- Add sound effects and attach image overlays to faces.
- Set UI elements such as the video feed, chat pane and notifications.
