Users Spend 27% Of Their Mobile Time To Consume Media [Study]

Mobile handset has proliferated worldwide, and now, users are more relying on these devices. A research analysis firm has estimated mobile handset would reach 7.1billion in numbers by 2015. Presently, users are investing more time on mobile devices than other devices such as TV and Radio. Mobile has surpassed TV in media time spending. Users are presently spending 27% of their media time on mobile devices than TV, where users spend 22% of their media time. The report is also demonstrating 33% of consumers use their mobile phone while watching TV. However, m-commerce has presently not so much of impact on the market, but, it’s expected that 76% users are being planned to conduct m-commerce next year. While we are talking about the newness, 42% of mobile users accept that the mobile advertisement has introduced something new for them. Is a mobile device really save the time and money for different purposes such as marketing, shopping and more? It’s belief of 23% of respondents that mobile ads save time and money.

In addition to these, 23% consumers feel that the mobile devices are helpful in providing them a better option, while 26% users believe that it is helpful to find something nearby.  The users are more comfortable with mobile advertising than TV or online advertising.
