Samsung Launches Star 3: The New Avatars Of Samsung Star Series Feature Phone

Samsung , a major mobile phone manufacturer recently launched the successor to their well-acclaimed Star series feature phone. Samsung Star and Star 2 had been one of the best-selling multimedia phone for Samsung  and proved to be an early milestone that Samsung achieved during its road map. Samsung launched the new models of the featured phone as Star 3 and Star 3 Duos recently. Not much improvement can be seen in the specification of both the devices though a cross-platform social networking service ChatON is integrated with their OS. There is also no difference between both the variants though Star 3 Duos is a dual-sim phone.

With the new Star 3 touch phones, Samsung continues to offer the best social networking experiences and opportunities for our feature phone users,” said JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.

The Star 3 and the Star 3 DUOS are touch phones featuring an ergonomic design while measuring merely 11.5 mm thin. Both new models are well intended to add up the spice in the social life of users because of enhanced social networking services. As stated by Samsung,”ChatON communication service enables sign-in without ID or PW to send personalized multimedia messages, group chat, buddy management. Push IM via ChatON, various Instant Messaging services with MSN, Yahoo!, and Google Talk, natively integrated Facebook, Twitter and push emails keep users entertained and connected – anytime, anywhere”.

Samsung Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS guarantee multimedia enriched experience, with a full fetched entertainment options. The device features a 3” QVGA screen which provides an average viewing experience as per its cost is concerned. 3.2MP camera and WiFi 802.11 integration makes both of the devices to be feature packed device for the consumers.
