In last one year Facebook has grown beyond expectations of the marketers as well as analysts. Its user base as well as revenue has increased by multiple folds. Currently, Facebook user base is more than 800 million which is comparatively 37 percent higher than its user base in 2010.

Interestingly, during this period on an average near about 7 new users joined Facebook each second. Taking the view of all these perspective, Socialbakers released an Infographic which highlights the growth of Facebook in last one year.

Infographic reveals that India, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines and Germany play an important role in constant appreciating user base of Facebook. During this period users from Brazil have increased by 299 percent followed by users from India (139 percent) and Mexico (98 percent).

Infographic also highlights that in brands Playstation growth is highest with 140 percent followed by Converse 101 percent and Disney 91 percent.

Surprisingly, Shakira page has registered highest growth in terms of number of fans – 146 percent – on Facebook followed by Rihanna (138 percent) and Akon (133 percent).
