Alienware, a name that will surely make you think of a monster-size,costly and heavy gaming desktop or notebook with hardware specification at its best. But this time Alienware is up with out-of-line PC hardware which will feature powerful specs but will be compact in size and will be affordable too, now that’s more likely. Alienware’s X51 PC series will soon be available in market in eight different SKU’s ranging from entry-level 699$ rig to  high-end 1199$ monster rig. You will be surprised to know that X51 measures merely 13.5 inches tall, 12.52-inches deep and 3.74-inches thick, which makes it almost comparable to Sony PS3 game console in measurements. It features a slot-loading disc drive, can also hooked up both horizontally and vertically, making it a performer for both desk and entertainment center use. Its black matte casing, alien-themed design and customizable LED illumination give it a hardcore Alienware look.

The baseline model of Alienware X51 will feature a dual-core 3.3GHz Intel Core i3-2120, 4GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive and NVIDIA’s GeForce GT545. More expensive alternates will be power-packed with quad-core 3.0GHz Intel Core i5-2320 and 3.4GHz Intel Core i7-2600 CPUs, up to 8GBs of RAM, NVIDIA GeFore GTX555 GPUs. A Blu-Ray Drive will surely accompany the top most model. Alienware desktops, the X51, unlike the previous versions of Alienware PCs will be easily upgradable by swapping out the stock video card, motherboard, RAM or CPU. All the variants will offer integrated 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, six USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output and optical audio output. So gamers, X51 is out for sale, go and have one for youself ASAP.
