Motorola is continuously taking aggressive measures for competing in smartphone market of India and also trying to capture maximum smartphone market share. There had been many recent announcements from Motorola on launching new smartphones and tablets for Indian consumers. Announcement of Motorola RAZR smartphone and XOOM 2 tablet series clearly depicts the serious intentions of Motorola. This time Motorola is up with its next version of Defy smartphone i.e Defy+ which is a Dust proof, scratch proof and water proof smartphone just like its predecessor. Motorola is aiming to provide next level of “rough and tough” features to adventurous consumers. Motorola launched this 3.7″ smartphone in India day before yesterday at a price of Rs 17,990/- and  this sweet looking smartphone has already attracted lot of costumers with its features but its hard to tell whether it will be able to compete with other smartphones in same segment.

Motorola Defy+ is a well designed having 3.7 inch Gorilla Glass display supporting a resolution of 480×854 pixels. This crispy and crystal clear display gives a vivid visual experience. The smartphone features Motorola UI with live widgets and touch sensitive controls. It’s gorgeous UI featuring sweet icons will definitely give a punch to is competitors for sure. It comes with 2 GB of internal memory and a 2 GB MicroSD card which is expandable upto 32 GB. Defy+ is powered with 1 GHz TI OMAP 3620 processor and 512 MB of RAM which is fair enough for running average 3D games on the mobile and to give smoother mobile operations like editing, web surfing etc. It has a 5 MP Camera with Auto-focus and LED Flash and features like geo-tagging and image stabilization are also supported. Motorola Defy+ will be available in white and black variants. Lets see whether it can compete with smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Rhyme etc though its sweet UI, Cool looks, Scratch proof, dust proof and water proof features  will give it a plus point for sure.
