In latest press release company has claimed that more than 10 million Galaxy S II has been sold out across the globe within 5 months of the launch. Interestingly, company while releasing the press note company has mentioned the Galaxy S II code as “Model: GT-I9100”, means the figure doesn’t include U.S. sales market.

The sales figure got doubled in just 8 weeks as company was standing with 5 million Galaxy S II sales barley 2 months ago. The buzz about Galaxy S II was there in the market from the day first. Infact, company had already secured more than 3 million orders before the launch. However, the first 3 months didn’t over exceeded the expectations as company managed to sell only 3 million additional handsets.

As many of US telecom providers like Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile is just putting the handset on selves, the numbers are expected to improve much faster now.
