Samsung Electronics Ltd. at IFA 2011 revealed a new revolutionary device featuring awesome smartphone portability with Tablet like viewing experience. Samsung innovated and combined the hardcore features of a smartphone and a huge 5.3” Super AMOLED Tablet-like display into one. An advanced pen-input technology, S-Pen is integrated with the Galaxy Note’s touch screen to give a totally new user-experience. Because of 5.3” WXGA display and a resolution of 1280×800, 285 ppi, users will be able to perform more tasks on the go with minimum scrolling and screen transitions. Its also bundled with Samsung’s latest ChatON mobile communication service.

We examined the fundamental elements of mobile culture, entertainment and communication in order to bring together the best experiences in a single, elegant device,” said JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business. “The huge, 5.3” HD Super AMOLED screen is the largest, highest quality display available in any phone; the touch screen and S Pen combine to produce a uniquely accurate level of control and finesse, along with rich expressions across the GALAXY Note experience, enabling the introduction of new smartphone experiences.”

“The artistic freedom of a paper notebook is coupled with the benefits of Samsung’s smartphone technology and services, allowing users to create, edit and share with more style than ever before,” Shin added.

Samsung Galaxy Note is powered with 1.4 GHz Dual Core processor which gives it nonpareil performance and ensures blazing fast and smooth user experience. The 5.3” WXGA display and a resolution of 1280×800 gives much more vivid and enhanced viewing experience. Amazingly fast network speeds are enabled through the HSPA+ and LTE-enabled device’s super-fast connection, ensuring a quick and seamless browsing experience. The Device features rear 8 MP Camera with LED flash and front 2 MP Camera, HD recording upto 1080 p @ 24~30 FPS. The product specification as given by Samsung is given below.
