Ltd. revealed company’s aggressive strategy over Software sector by announcing BADA 2.0 SDK (Software Development Kit). Being a leading mobile phone manufacturer and highly reputed electronics company, Samsung is concentrating over the mobile OS market and trying to minimize its dependence over Google as Samsung’s huge range of smartphones are using Android OS platform.
Samsung decided to enhance their own Mobile OS ( BADA) due to the magnificent success of WAVE Series smartphones in Europe,China and South East Asia. BADA 2.0 supports multi-tasking, Wi-Fi Direct, Near Field Communication (NFC) and voice recognition. It will give users an enhanced web experience because OS supports HTML 5 and latest Flash features. Even Developers will be benefitted because of its support for WAC 2.0 and Ads API. Lets see this new avatar of BADA OS will make a mark on customers or not.
