Sony is going to redefine the gaming harmones by launching Sony PlayStation Vita, avatar of its handheld gaming device called PSP.The brand new and innovative features of PlayStation Vita will change the traditional way of playing games. Sony is planning to launch PSVita in the end of this year. In E3 2011 Sony revealed its new PlayStation device giving full details about its features and technical specifications. Stunning looks of Sony PSVita and its capability to run games in such high graphics with the support of motion sensors,gyroscope,dual cameras and accelerometer is really promising for the future of handheld gaming.
Sony PSVita is powered with ARM Cortex A9 Four Core Processor and SGX543MP4+ Graphics Processor Unit, due to which its capable of producing some serious High Definition graphics and amazing visual effects. The external dimensions of the device are approx. 182.0 x 18.6 x 83.5 mm(width,height,depth). One of its feature which is responsible for its rejuvenation is that instead of going for normal display Sony has integrated a 5″ Capacitive Multi Touchscreen OLED Display in its PSVita, which also features the aspect ratio of 16:9,resolution of 960 x 544 pixels and 16 million colors due to which its very much capable of producing true cinema like content.
PSVita has a rear multi touchpad through which one can play games with greater control without even touching their OLED display though one will need little practice for such gameplay. Sony has given front and rear cameras which are responsible for turning physical world into your gaming arena by using Augmented Reality(AR) technology. It has a built in GPS, 3G connectivity and WiFi adapter which connects you with your world-wide mates easily. Sony PSVita has Six Axis Motion sensor,Accelerometer,Gyroscope and Three axis compass system which will produce a whole new level of addiction in games.
PSVita will be available by year-end in two models,WiFi and WiFi+3G , both will be priced 249$ and 299$ respectively. In India it will be available probably by Jan 2012 and it will be priced near 12K for basic model and 14K for premium one.
