EA and DICE are gearing up to dive the gamers into the new level of warfare gaming by announcing Battlefield 3. It’s the upcoming sequel to EA’s famous FPS title Battlefield and will be available in market from 25.10.2011 as declared by EA. The most amazing feature of Battlefield 3 is its gaming engine, Frostbite 2. This next generation gaming engine is capable of producing stunning graphics, true life-like physics, amazing animation with the help of ANT technology, cinematic image quality,sound and fabulous visual effects. DICE describes its new gaming engine as,”Next Generation Technology for Current Generation Platforms”.
DICE made a comeback in FPS titles with their bloody game, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and were competing with their mainstream rival Activision’s ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’. But this time with the announcement of Battlefield 3 and with the help of their super engineered gaming engine Frostbite 2 , Dice is now miles ahead from COD. The in-game footage of the game shows the true ability of EA’s ANT animation technology which was earlier used for games like FIFA. This animation technology has enhanced Battlefield 3 to a whole new level of FPS realism. Gamers will witness game’s fabulous physics engine producing stunning destructive effects as one can destroy each and every thing coming on their way whether it be a vehicle or be it a whole building, everything is demolishable. Scaling done in the game is really remarkable due to it the game features highly detailed landscapes and dense urban areas.
