Apple Stands Over Microsoft and Intel Combined in Market Value

Must Read

After displacing Google from the top position in World’s most valuable brand list, it was time for Microsoft and Intel to face heat from Apple’s constant unanimous growth. On Friday, closing hours of market, Apple emerged more worthy than combined market value of Microsoft and Intel. On Friday Microsoft (MSFT) had market value of $201.59 billion against Intel with $115.21 billion valuation. But it was Apple which has beaten combined value of Microsoft and Intel with market value of $317.60 billion.

Microsoft ‘s Windows combined with Intel forms the portmanteau “Wintel,” which refers to personal computers that, when they’re working, can most charitably be described as upside-down and backwards Macs with weak immune systems.

So if you add them up, the combined value of Wintel worth $316.8 billion which is certainly authenticate the Apple’s winning position over Microsoft and Intel on individual and combined basis both. Interestingly, the Apple market value has sugared at the time when Apple’s CEP Steve Jobs is expected to release the latest version of their device platform iOS 5.0 on Monday at WWDC.

I am sure; Steve has got an interesting “additional” slide to add in his presentation tomorrow which will certainly turn the Microsoft red face. And, probably, he may answer the question of Bill Gates which was asked back in 1998 What I can’t figure out is why he [Steve Jobs] is even trying [to be the CEO of Apple]? He knows he can’t win”

An interesting and exciting scenario ahead on Monday for sure!
