Indeed, RIM’s Blackberry mobile devices have taken the complete control over the corporate users. No matter what market pundits (and myself) speculate or reports expose the downfall of market share, RIM is still one of the most obvious choice for enterprise users. Credit goes to company’s device-to-device encrypted messaging technology and secure communication gateway.
Though, the same security barricades are becoming troublesome for many countries and governments are trying their level best to gain control over that, RIM still enjoying the commitment from its enterprise users who are bound with the company for the same security measures.
However, RIM shows no sign of compromise with its security and has emerged as the only company which maintains its 3% market share in last two years. Company also recorded additional 2.7 million handset sales in first quarter of this year, compare to same duration last year.
Here is an interesting infographic from geekaphone who has showcased the biography of RIM and competitive analysis between RIM and competitors in mobile space. Interestingly, the infographic seems to be lean more towards RIM. All-n-all an interesting and informative infographic on RIM after this break.
