When Osama Bin Laden was killed, no one knew what’s going on in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Many were speculating this as another drone attack from U.S. However, one Twitter geek @ReallyVirtaul was covering the whole operations through twitter unknowingly from few kilometers away from the setup.
Twitter got flooded with the news and information about Osama. People were looking for Videos, US president announcement, Live encounter pictures and many more information but all related to Osama bin Laden. He had virtually ruled the whole world for that 24 hours post death by all forms.
Interestingly, a social media start up Namesake has compiled all information from diversified sources only to present as virtual tour / visual infographic which includes a pre-raid timeline of intelligence gathering and operation planning as well as a post-raid breakdown of announcements and bin Laden’s burial at sea.
